How to put the XRP price on your iPhone Lock Screen

Your Lock Screen is the one screen you look at more than any other, which makes it the best place for the XRP price. XRP Alerts can keep it there with a Live Activity: a card on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island that updates by itself.

Start the Live Price

1. Open XRP Alerts on Home.
2. Tap the More button (…) at the top left.
3. Turn on Live Price.

That's it. Lock your phone and the price is there, with its change today. On an iPhone with a Dynamic Island, it sits at the top of the screen while you use other apps, and a long press opens it up. In StandBy, it fills the screen while your phone charges.

If Live Price doesn't appear in the menu, Live Activities are off for the app. Turn them on in iOS Settings, under XRP Alerts, then Live Activities.

It keeps going with the app closed

You don't need to leave XRP Alerts open. The price reaches your card by a broadcast from Apple, updated every minute, so it keeps moving even after you've closed the app. iOS delivers these updates when it suits your phone, and less often in Low Power Mode. If updates pause for a while, the card dims and says so, rather than showing an old price as if it were current.

iOS ends every Live Activity after eight hours. Start it again from Home whenever you like.

Let your alerts start it for you

With XRP Alerts Pro, the card can show your alerts too: the nearest low and high, and how close the price is to each. And if you turn on Live Price near an alert in Settings, the card appears by itself when XRP comes within 3% of one of your alerts, then goes once the price moves away again.

Prefer a widget?

XRP Alerts also has Lock Screen widgets: the price, your portfolio's value and the market's stats, in the small spaces above and below the clock. Long press your Lock Screen, tap Customise, then add them from XRP Alerts. They refresh as often as iOS allows, while the Live Price card updates every minute.
