My alerts aren't arriving. What can I check?

Make sure notifications are allowed for XRP Alerts in iOS Settings, and that Background App Refresh is on for it (Settings, General, Background App Refresh). Avoid swiping the app away in the app switcher: iOS stops background checks for an app that's been closed that way. Low Power Mode also pauses them. With the app open, alerts are checked every 30 seconds.

The price on my Lock Screen has stopped updating.

Check that Live Activities are allowed for XRP Alerts in iOS Settings. iOS delivers Live Activity updates when it suits the device, and less often in Low Power Mode. If updates stop for a while, the card dims and says Paused, and catches up when the next update arrives. iOS ends any Live Activity after eight hours; start it again from the app.

How do I manage or cancel XRP Alerts Pro?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. In the app, go to Settings and choose Manage subscription, or open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose XRP Alerts.

I've got a new phone. How do I get Pro back?

Sign in with the same Apple Account, open XRP Alerts, go to Settings and tap Restore purchases.

My purchases and alerts aren't syncing between devices.

Accepted Answer

Both devices need to be signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud on for XRP Alerts (Settings, your name, iCloud). Changes can take a few minutes to arrive, and sync faster with the app open on both.

How do I bring my data across from XRP Alerts 3?

Accepted Answer

Version 4 offers to import your purchase records and currency the first time it opens. If you skipped it, go to Settings and choose Import from XRP Alerts V3. Importing twice, or on two devices, won't create duplicates.

Why is the price different from my exchange?

Accepted Answer

XRP Alerts shows a reference price from a market data provider, not any one exchange's. Aggregated, the default, combines prices across exchanges; Direct exchange counts only trades made in US dollars, euros or pounds. Any single exchange can sit a little above or below either. You can switch in Settings, under Price source.

How do I delete my data?

Open Settings in the app and go to Your data. You can delete your purchases, watched address, alerts, alert history or saved stories, or everything at once with Delete all data, and it's removed from every device signed in to your iCloud account. Your settings and XRP Alerts Pro aren't affected. See the privacy policy for what the app sends elsewhere.
